Scripps will host a job fair Wednesday, October 10th from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Scripps Center, 312 Walnut Street, Cincinnati. Digital job seekers can learn about and even interview for the job openings.
You will hear from key leaders, interview for key positions (management and professional), network with local digital professionals, and enjoy some light refreshments.
Scripps is hiring for positions in all areas including Sales, Design, Development, Marketing, Revenue Operations (SEO/SEM, Ad Ops), and Digital Journalism.
Adam Symson, chief digital officer, and Chip Mahaney, senior director of local operations (TV), will share their vision for the dynamic digital future of Scripps. They will speak at 5:30 p.m.
“We’re really not interested in a developer who would be just as happy working for an e-commerce company or making widgets without regard for what it is,” said Symson. “What we do is a career that is talked about in the constitution of the United States. Sometimes, people say, ‘I just want to develop apps.’ But these apps are core to the mission of what our company is. We do well by doing good. Scripps Digital is not excused from that mission. It’s very much a part of it.”
